William " Bill" Gosch gets a NT City Street named after him
William "Bill" Gosch was greeted by friends and family during surprise 99th birthday party in his honor, at the North Tonawanda Senior Center. The Mayor of North Tonawanda Austin Tylec read and presented Bill with a Proclamation in honor of his Military Service and to the community. Immediately following, Jesse Gooch, Niagara County Legislator carried on with a Proclamation from the Niagara County Legislature. If that wasn't enough excitement, Robert Pecoraro - Alderman at Large/ Council President announced at 4:30 pm today, that section of Goundry Street where Bill currently resides will be renamed "William Gosch Way." The street sign will be erected in honor of Bill. He was presented with a similar street sign for his keeping.
Bill, along with many other veterans, has been a regular visitor at the Cruisin at the Wurlitzer Weekly Car Cruise. Cruisin at the Wurlitzer supports and recognizes our veterans each and every week
